This time I write about a shoot with a new model: Lynn. I sent her my inspiration boards for shoots that I would like to do and she choose a butterfly related shoot. Cool.

At first I was looking for some prefab butterflies to use for the shoot but in the back of my head is an idea shimmering for a project with embroidered butterflies and dresses. So why not use embroidered butterflies for this shoot as well? So I grabbed an embroidery machine of my wife and after some thorough instructions of her side Instarted to create some butterfly magic. It was time consuming but cool. For this shoot I had a dark and moody butterfly theme in mind. I also created bigger ones to cover face a bit. In the end I liked the way they looked and how the added to the mood of the images.
