It has been a while since I did a shoot with Thalita. You can find out about my previous shoots with her here: previous shoots with Thalita. We did a lot of shoots in the past indeed.
A few months ago we met up again and decided that its would be cool to do a shoot again. So we searched for some themes and came up to a shoot with Polaroid-like frames used in the portrait. A great idea right? Then I started thinking: what if we had polaroids from our previous shoots and use them in the shoot as well? That would be cool too. So I searched some cool images from our previous shoots and got them printed. Then I had some cutting to do.
After that I started to do some more thinking. What are Polaroids without a camera? I don’t have a real Polaroid camera but I do have a Lego version that I got for my birthday. I only had a little Lego-building to do. Which is great fun too.
So now we were ready to do our shoot. We started with some empty Polaroid frames I cut from cardboard and then moved on to the retrospective Polaroids. I think the images came out great and I love the idea that we already made so many pictures together.
Here are some of the results:
Thank you Thalita for this collaboration. I had a great time like in the ‘old days’.
