Once in a while I like to do something different. Getting out of my comfort zone. This time I went to Desiree who has a Cattery with lovely Maine Coons. Check out her website for more information about her cattery: Deescoons.
The furry models were very interested in me and my equipment when I arrived and started building the the studio setup. But then the shoot started. And suddenly a lot of the furry models had more important things to do. But with the great help of Desiree we were able to create some cool images of her Maine Coon population.
The small kittens were only 7 weeks of age. They were so lovely and I am happy that they were already assigned to future owners because otherwise I might have had something to explain when I got home.
Here are some of the results:
For the studio setup I used a grey backdrop with a strobe with a standard reflector and a grid on it. As a key light I used a small octabox and I added in a strip box as a fill light.
A big thank you to Desiree for having me on this shoot. I really enjoyed it. But it is impossible not to enjoy a shoot with such lovely models.
