Recently I did a another studio shoot with smoke. This time with model Esmée. She had seen my smokey images with Thalita I did earlier this year. You can find more information on that shoot here: Smoke in the studio with Thalita.
During the setup of the light we did some test images in a lovely dress which came out very nice. After that we started smoking with Esmée in a cool jacket. Later on we added some color to it which gave an awesome effect. In the end we did a cool shoot with Esmée’s hair moving.

I used a strobe with a beauty dish as a main light above the camera. Below that I used a strobe with a small octabox as a fill light. The smoke has been back lighted with two strobes with a standard reflector. For the color I added some color gels to the backlight strobes.
